Slippery Sidewalks!

Today we braved the chilly weather to enjoy the last of the snow. It had mostly melted into a sludgy mess; but it was still a treat to have any left at all! My shoes didn’t have grips, so it was an afternoon of avoiding icy patches – and trying not to slip over when I did inevitably encounter one! Because of the frosty weather, I decided that (for once!) I would cover up my legs. I peeked inside my wardrobe and made a crazy discovery; I own no trousers! Two pairs of jeans reside in the corner, slowly gathering dust, but there are no trousers to be seen! As a favour to my shivering legs, I put on a full length jumpsuit which was incredibly warm. I rolled up the hemline slightly and paired it with my grip-less brogues before venturing to a nearby snow-filled park.

  1. What lovely lights and colours and that little bag is unbelievable!

You really aren’t afraid of cold, I usually wear half of the contents of my wardrobe all at once when it’s icy. 😀

  2. I love your photos, so gorgeously golden. I am glad you didn’t get hurt/slip on the sidewalk and props to that adorable leather bag. It’s so teeny but the roses make it so unique!

I was wondering: Are you planning on buying trousers now you realised that you do not own one single pair?

  9. I love this, it reminds me of brownies (the young girl brownies, not chocolate brownies). I’m glad we only have snow a couple of times a year in London. The public transport goes down the toilet and I feel like I’m going to fall over!

  11. Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. I am so glad you did. I love winter, snow, sweater weather and so I am glad that you are posting all about that. I’ll be visiting often to imagine being in your winter instead of my hot/humid summer (in NYC). Drink some hot tea for me…

  18. I don’t own any trousers either. I keep thinking I should look for some in thrift stores, but it’s so hard to find a good fit and I never want to take the time. Anyway, this outfit looks great and so stylish! I love the fuzzy yellow sweater and the details on your bag.

  24. I don’t own any pants either but a few measly pairs of jeans that hardly get any wear…and some yoga pants of course. I’m loving how you styled your jumpsuit though. It looks like such a comfy outfit to wear in the chilly weather and the bat and bag are both equally adorable. Enjoy the rest of the snow! x Marisa
