Oh, Hello There!

Phew, I wasn’t planning on disappearing for quite so long – but this week has been much more full on than I was expecting. The last few months have been consumed by non-stop planning, and this week we spent three days photographing an entire campaign – or at least Barnaby did; I was styling and trying to organize our enormous team! Needless to say, we are both completely exhausted. So now you know why it’s been so quiet around here lately - and the reason why I’ve been looking so very sleepy!

With our new-found spare time, we walked down to a nearby bend in the river, just to say hello to my ducky friends! The photograph below was actually snapped as I was greeting them with a ‘hi hi hi’. The funniest thing was, they were quacking back – probably telling me to quieten down, don’t you think! I wore a playsuit, cropped sweater, and a blazer, all bought from ASOS. The hat is vintage, and slightly misshapen after a washing machine adventure to fix a food spill! The cat tote is a new favourite, sent to me courtesy of Modcloth. It fits both my Holga and the DSLR perfectly – I couldn’t be happier!

  1. The duckies might have just been afraid of your new sinister looking kitty! Anyway beautiful photos in a beautiful setting.

  4. Lovely outfit! The cat bag is awesome! If I had to choose to be any kind of animal, I’d want be a duck! I think they have the best of all worlds because they can fly, swim, and hang out on land! And they’re super cute!

  5. I absolutely love ducks – they always remind me of when I was little and we’d go for walks to feed them. I love the playsuit and the mix of colours. Hope you have a lovely week!

  7. I am in love with approximately the last five outfits! Dropped in to catch up and was just mesmerized by the bright colored outfit. The black velvet. The beautiful white tights and shoes. Oh my. Makes me want to go ahead and get dressed for tomorrow and it’s only midnight!
