Boy, am I grateful for this slow, slow start to Winter. As well as the beauty of leaves in Autumn shades, there is something to be said for that besotting haze that covers the world, particularly in the early morning. With the hotter-than-usual temperatures, it means we have actually been able to enjoy the hazy mornings – and without extra layers of padding to project us against the cold too. Score!

After 3+ years of living in Wellington, you wouldn’t believe how obsessed I am becoming with hats! Wellington, after all, is one of the windiest cities in the world, and there definitely weren’t many occasions that called for a head accessory (unless, of course you wanted a quick goodbye – wahh!) I’ve been making up for lost time and adorning my noggin with anything with a brim (generally this refers to my Catarzi hat – a recent ASOS purchase).

The best thing about this warm burst of sun means I can still wear cute dresses (livin’ the dream, yo). As well as being an organic & fair trade garment (♥), this little number from NZ label (yay!) Arc & Bow perfectly complemented the distinctively Autumn park. I love wearing it on these in-betweeny temperature days, and I can imagine popping it on over the top of a bikini in Summer too (and lets be honest – I love Autumn, but Summer heat wins every time!)
