Country Girl!

I’ve been lucky enough to spend the past week pet-sitting a huge bunch of (wonderful!) animals. Today we took another trip to feed the horse, and Snow; the sheep. I am completely living up to my NZ reputation, but I am besotted with sheep! Aren’t they lovely! Horses have always made me slightly nervous, but today I finally braved up enough to be on hay feeding duties. A personal victory, hooray!

I wore a top that a friend made me! It truly is the cutest; she even embroidered a tag! The necklace I’m wearing was courtesy of Lotta Losten. Lotta was such a delight; even sending a necklace shaped like a sunflower because they are my favourite!

  6. Oh, wow. I love these pictures. Now that’s how to look cute while being practical on a farm. (;

    Thanks for the comment! I’m pretty fond of that dress myself. My hair wasn’t slicked back though… it’s all buzzed off! ha. A wild impulse and now I wait for growth.

  7. Ahhh sheep and horses are so cute! I’m from Texas, and I think we also probably get a lot of the same stereotypes as New Zealanders in terms of being rural/etc. But even if it perpetuates the stereotype, I love escaping to farms and feeding/petting farm animals!

    You look lovely as usual.
