If You Go Down To The Woods Today…

By now I’m sure you’re aware that I love going on excursions! Today we visited the south of Christchurch, to a place called McLean’s Island. Along the way we saw the most incredible traction engine! It was so pretty and antique looking – definitely deserving of a photograph! We drove slow behind it and finally reached our destination; McLeans Island. It is a huge park, complete with an enormous bike riding track – so tempting! There were so many red and white spotted mushrooms, and lots of actual fairy rings! I was too frightened to stand in one of course, but had to take a few photographs of the pretty mushrooms!

Green Fingers

We arrived home and I decided to spend the day in the garden. I have always wanted a cute vegetable patch – and my current flat has the perfect area for it! While digging away, I came across the funniest looking root vegetable! Does anyone have any idea what it is? I just couldn’t stop laughing at how enormous it was!

  6. I love the fit and color of your shorts. That mushroom is an amazing color. That tractor \train thing is way cool. I don’t know what kind of vegetable that is. It looks like a carrot but then it looks like a sweet potato. What is it? Thank you so much for checking out my blog. I am now following yours! Kiah

  7. Your blog is the loveliest thing. Your outfit is so darn cute! And the root is something odd. It’s like a really dirty parsnip or something! hehe..but I wouldn’t eat it.
