Dream-Outfits-Fruit-Salad-1

1. Banana Print Denim Skirt / 2. Banana Print Denim Biker

I’ve always been a bit of a fan of fruit on clothing (err, weird much?) but every now and then the obsession grows just a little. This time around, it might have something to do with the arrival of a strawberry and peach print dress, combined with all of Alix‘s adventures wearing beautiful pineapple motif clothing. Whatever the reason, fruit is becoming a bit of a staple for me. Hey, it’s easy on the eyes and on the lips – what’s not to love, eh? Here are a bunch (pardon the pun… not!) of my favourites, and where you might like to wear them. Enjoy!

1. Daisy Sequin Lace Crop Top / 2. Fruitful Endeavours Skirt / 3. Professor of Pop Flats / 4. Hungry Caterpillar Tote

Outfit One: A Trip to the Market

First up, can I just say how much I love this skirt?! The gingham print is so reminiscent of vintage table cloths (in the best way possible, of course!) and I love the subtle pineapple, pear, and grape print. Super cute! Pair it with a lace crop and vintage inspired red shoes. P.s. I am beyond in love with this hungry caterpillar tote! It was my favourite book as a child, though let’s be honest – it’s the same for everyone, right?

1. Juicy Fruit Midi Dress / 2. Pineapple Collar / 3. Strut your Day Right Heel

Outfit Two: First Date

A first date is a night to impress, right? Well, you can’t go better than wearing this oh-so flattering pineapple print bodycon. The fit looks incredible; perfect for showing off your curves. Pair it with a matching pineapple necklace and tie your hair into a high-up ponytail. Finish it all off with yellow heels. Right, now I think you should suggest that your date takes place on an island paradise, don’t you?

  2. Oh man, I NEED that Hungry Caterpillar tote. That was one of my favorite books as a kid. I’m loving fruit prints lately, too. Last summer I picked up a ridiculous banana romper, and it is great!
