Big Bag, Big Hair!

Do you ever get dressed for the day, and feel like you have completely (although unintentionally!) been channeling someone else? With my oversized beehive and vintage plaid dress, today I was feeling like a 1960s diner waitress. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, so instead decided to go on an almighty walk through the closest park to my house. As my back recovers, I’ve slowly been able to walk more and more – and today was the biggest walk of all! I brought my Holga along, and spent the morning snapping away – it truly is a new obsession!

My doctor’s bag (and the only bag that will fit my camera!) is from Golden Ponies. I wore a vintage dress and shoes, paired with white ASOS tights. I scooped my hair into a messy beehive; one of my go-to hairstyles! Incidentally, I have asked this on my Facebook page before – but would anyone be interested in seeing a beehive tutorial? I have rather exciting plans brewing, and wanted to see if there was interest first!

  4. As I read that a beehive was one of your go-to hairstyles I was like “what?! why can’t I do that?” and then you said about tutorials. That would be so awesome.

  5. You look gorgeous! Especially loving the bag, I haven’t yet found a stylish solution to the camera bag problem. Still carrying around the big Canon thing I got when I bought it… not a style statement in the right way…

  10. I would LOVE a beehive tut! I know what you mean by channeling someone else. Occasionally I’ll tease my hair and tell my roommate I’m from a 60s music video.
