Sunday at the Seaside

This weekend we had such a lovely trip to the seaside suburb of New Brighton in Christchurch. A travelling fair was in the area; naturally I couldn’t resist! We were apprehensive about the ferris wheel – honestly, there have been so many earthquakes, and New Brighton was hit badly! In the end we just crossed our fingers that it would be a shake free day (which it was!) and hopped aboard the wheel. The views were absolutely spectacular, and you could see completely across the city, and out over the sea! After our whirlwind trip, we treated ourselves to some carnival candy floss! I can never say no!

  1. Wow looks like a wonderful carnival. I’ve never been to one beside the sea…I image it to be so romantic, especially when the sun is setting on the horizon.

  2. Omigosh I recognise you from Trademe! Haha it’s kinda sad that I procrastinate so much on trademe that I start recognising sellers.
